[Soget carries out translations in all the main languages, sectors and formats]

The translation process goes beyond the simple conversion of text from one language to another.
Every text contains a specific message which must be transmitted in its entirety in another language, in line with the text's informative and cultural context.

All our translations set out to be effective and instantly usable, an objective we achieve through our Project Managers, who work in close contact with translators, reviewers, consultants and DTP operators. It is this team work that ensures top quality levels, while reducing lead times and production costs.
As a result, we can produce technical translations from Italian into English or from Italian into Arabic, Chinese or Japanese, as well as technical manuals or catalogues in Word, HTML, SGML, XML.... or indeed any other format!

Over 30 years of experience in the translation field, in all the main languages, an an unparalleled database of specialised resources allow us to tackle large documentation projects, guaranteeing high quality standards, short production times and extremely competitive prices through the use of sophisticated translation technologies (CAT).

And our management system - one of the most sophisticated in the industry - means that even small and medium-sized projects may be handled quickly and efficiently.

TRANSLATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Every translation is treated as an individual project. Our experience has taught us that quality is always strictly connected with efficient management.
To this end we have developed a corporate management system that allows us to record all project activities, from quoting to invoicing.
Through this effective tool we can take note of customer expectations, control our translators' skills, monitor the quality of our translations through time, emphasise any control processes expressly requested by the customer or envisaged by our quality system, and archive a record of the actions undertaken.
Our system is operated bycustomer-oriented project managers, whose aim is to ensure that every customer project is monitored and submitted on time.

TERMINOLOGY
We work by creating specific termbase or glossaries for each individual customer, thus guaranteeing client-specific uniformity of terminology. We also create glossaries during the translation process so as to ensure uniformity of terminology through time. CrossTerm, Multiterm and TermStar are fully supported.

TRANSLATION QUALITY
Our Quality System is EN ISO 9001 and EN 15038 certified.
We allocate the best professional and technical resources to each project, meeting deadlines and observing all contractual and confidentiality agreements.
Our aim is to meet the customer's needs at all times, thus strengthening our partnership. We generate project-specific solutions, both for individual translations and complex documentation cycles. On the basis of customers' specific and unique needs, we appoint a Project manager, reflecting the necessary experience, who will create a team of translators and suppliers, define appropriate resources, apply the relevant Quality procedures, track the job progress at all times and keep the customer informed until final delivery.

TRANSLATION ACCURACY
The use of mother tongue professionals is a fundamental requisite for a good translation. Our mother tongue translators are chosen on the basis of their know-how and specialisations.
In line with the ISO 9001 standard, our Quality System requires each translation to undergo the following standard controls: completeness and accuracy (i.e. all texts have been translated and the content has been transposed correctly); spelling, grammar and syntax (i.e. re-reading texts in hardcopy and/or applying software controls, e.g. spell check in MS-Word); consistency and uniformity (i.e. using consistent terminology throughout the various sections of text: titles, chapters, indexes, etc) and terminology suitability (i.e. the terminology choices made are appropriate). Translated texts are only delivered after these checks have been carried out.
In addition to our standard checks, we also perform any specific checks requested by the customer.
All translations subject to the EN 15038 standard undergo a language revision and, when specifically requested, a specialised review.

TRANSLATION SPECIALISATIONS
Our specialisations include:

Whatever the area of specialisation, our sales reps will be ready to submit a list of references, describing previously completed projects, the solutions adopted and the results achieved.

TRANSLATING AND PUBLISHING
We accept every file format, and are able to deliver ready-to-publish files, PDFs or printed documents, as required.
We support all Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org suite applications, as well as both Windows and Macintosh DTP programmes (including Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, PageMaker, Interleaf QuickSilver, Microsoft Publisher, QuarkXPress) and various design applications (e.g. CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Fireworks, PhotoShop etc.).

CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY
All translations are carried out in strict observance of the professional secrecy act and specific confidentiality agreements.
We request our translators to sign confidentiality agreements designed to safeguard the customer.
Upon request, we can use document encoding solutions or specific management systems (CrossGrid, etc.).

ON THE CUSTOMER'S SIDE
